  In old stories fairies, were the ones who had powers of magic and enchantment.  People have believed in fairies for a  very long time.

    Fairies can look like many different things - some are very tiny men who look like leprechauns - some are beautiful enchantresses who make many men fall in love with them.  Some fairies are little Tinkerbell like characters who are usually mischievious and like to get into trouble.  And let's not forget about Cinderella's fairy godmother who helped her get into the ball.  Fairies are also found in many cultures.  There is the Arabic jinn, the Scandinavian troll, the Germanic elf, and the English Pixie.  The most important thing to remember is that they are very magical creatures and they can help us when we need them.
