that is found in mostly children. It affects blood cells and their

which affects blood cells and the lymph system The lymph system is
responsible for fighting infections.

- a tumour that is cancerous.

who treats cancer.
PEDIATRICIAN
(Pee-dee-a-TRISH-shun) - A doctor
that treats children.
RADIATION(Ray-de-A-shun)
- A type of therapy that does not need surgery which uses
an X-ray machine to target the tumour and fight it.
REMISSION(Re-MISH-shun)
- After treatment, there is no sign that the cancer is still
there.
TUMOR (Too-MER) - a swelling or growth which could be cancerous or non-cancerous. |
