Learning and Telehealth for Consumers of Health Information
Dr. Jose Arocha and Dr. Vimla Patel (McGill University)
Abstract
Telehealth systems for providing information to consumers of health information play a dual role: Displaying information and educating consumers about health-related issues. Balancing these two roles is a critical concern when implementing such systems. We will present theoretical and empirical research aimed at specifying the constraints that may affect understanding and of health information through telehealth.
